The Nevada Department of Transportation is eager to host the WASHTO 2007 conference July 7-11 in the fastest-growing city in the nation.

Engaging the theme of “Raising the Ante on Transportation,” the agenda will feature plenty of informative and engaging conference business. 

Among the many topics up for discussion will be innovative project approach and delivery, funding initiatives, work zone safety and mobility, marketing the needs for transportation-related infrastructure, leadership and management, and innovative pavement and bridge preservation programs.

Also on the agenda: public information efforts, tolling and public-private partnerships, trends and advanced strategies for congestion mitigation, preparing for reauthorization, the contractors’ perspective on dealing with DOTs, and strategic highway safety plans.

Of course, there will be a golf tournament to get you into the swing of things, as well as special events and guest tours in addition to informative exhibitor and vendor displays. And there will be ample opportunity to explore the neon splendor of Las Vegas.
